As founder and Principal of GrowthWave, John envisioned a unique IT management consulting firm – one that focused on business growth and profitability, not on technology alone.

Known for being a strong, passionate leader, John's focus is always on developing leaders and leveraging technology for greater business growth and profitability.

John's 29-year career spans many industries (technology, banking, insurance, travel, retail, service and manufacturing) ... and multiple roles (CIO, IT VP, IT Director, Project Manager, software developer).

His work experience has included roles with some of the best run companies in the US including Cendant, Bank One (now Chase), Worthington Industries and ADP. His consulting clients have included Expedia, Sur La Table, SeaBright Holdings, Inc., Nationwide Insurance, Univar USA, WatchGuard Technologies and MOD Systems.

Prior to launching GrowthWave in 2005, John was CIO of Trendwest Resorts, and VP of IT Strategy & Business Alignment for a $1.5B hospitality company.

He holds a BS in Computer Management from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, and an AAB in Computer Programming from Clark State in Springfield, Ohio.

Through GrowthWave, John advises CEOs and CIOs, provides Interim CIO talent, and coaches CIOs to become business leaders within IT.
